A major UK office relocation for a worldwide company, based in Wiltshire. Their objective of moving a few hundred employees was to reduce their office rent over the longer term. However, this client has significant cash balances and therefore would only look to lease if the costs were below their internal rate of return.

Solution

The client’s supplier worked extensively with them in the design and planning stage of the office move. Fit Out Finance was introduced to this client via our mutual relationship with the supplier. We negotiated a very competitive lease facility that therefore made our offer financially viable.

Result

The supplier was paid in full within 24 hours of delivery, which is additionally excellent for their cash flow. The customer has a finance facility over five years, benefiting from all their rental repayments being allowable against tax and in effect, paying for the furniture as they use it.
